to feel, to touch, to know
every dream come true
pause, i must step back
how i must ask
everlast, you have come
never again shall you leave

so much of this world
to reduce to this
ever only to be loved
pondering as i am
how this could be

some thoughts
are my friends

for many years
they come and go

i choose to live
not to die
flesh will survive
i know it will
i can’t handle
the thoughts
that it might not
they pain me
they hurt me
the sadden me
