I’m waking up at the start of the end of the world,
but its feeling just like every other morning before,
Now I wonder what my life is going to mean if it’s gone,

The Kids Aren’t Alright via The Offspring

I don’t know why it is but I’ve gravitated back towards The Offspring here lately. The new Rock 105.5 here in Birmingham plays a good bit of the older Offspring and I’ve recently picked up their hits album.

This song for some reason rises to the top in my mind. It says a lot in its short number of words. At least to me…

When we were young the future was so bright
