For the Want of a Nail…

I’ve got several comments to make about several different things but for lack of the energy to think about what I want to say right now, I’m going to leave you to ponder this thought....

For the want of a nail the world was lost…

For the want of a nail, the shoe was lost
For the want of a shoe, the horse was lost
For the want of a horse, the rider was lost
For the want of a rider, the message was lost
For the want of a message, the battle was lost
For the want of a battle, the war was lost
For the want of a war, the kingdom was lost

And it was all for the want of a nail.
