no fault, all my own

don’t blame yourself
none of you
it’s not your fault
no fault, all my own

my mind
loses control
thoughts race
back and forth
not sure what
i think
or who i know

some thoughts
are my friends
i’ve known
some thoughts
for many years
they come and go
just as you have

i beg of you
don’t blame yourself
it’s not your fault
