stand

what’s it mean to stand
to stand for what you believe
what would happen if you didn’t
would there be walls
would the world fall
would your friends leave
would nobody believe
if you don’t stand
this world would be corrupt
is that what it’s come to
sometimes i wonder
i wonder about things
if you don’t stand
the world may end
must it happen
i don’t think so
i know so
if no one stands
for what they believe
this world would end
and all would leave
