war

war is something i’ve always known
i fight all the time
with friends and family
there’s still a raging war going on
why does it have to be

my dad’s the axis and i’m the ally
there’s a raging war here
and i’ve been banned
banned from what though
it’s a free country is it not

why is there a war
all it does is kill
is that what has to happen
i don’t know sometimes
maybe he’s just out to get you
